Well after receiving a good few entries into the competition I have picked a winner who had indeed the correct answer.
The first spoken words in the film, other than radio transmission are indeed "Morning Scott, Morning Wells".

I did look around for the answer- but couldn't find it -and we didn't have the DVD!
